Ok, I’ve posted a couple political blogs recently, so I figure it’s time I put this thought down.

I want to submit an official apology to Rob Ford for thinking at one point that no one, in a position of political authority, could provide such appall through bigotry, sexism, and sheer ignorance. Let me show you just how wrong I was. (more…)

In the aftermath of a federal election, lots of conversations have been spurred.  Some hopeful, some fearful.  I’ve spoken with some that are overjoyed, and I’ve heard hushed voices warning of dire things to come.  It was one conversation that sticks out in my mind though, and it’s one that I want to share (paraphrased, of course, and without naming names)…

Ontario Election 2014I hope I’m not writing this too late for some people.  I’m sure that you all know that in a few days it’s time to go to the voting booth again (well, those of you in Ontario…), but have you made up your mind on who you want to vote for?  Are you planning on going at all?  Before you place the X beside a candidate, consider your options (and you might have options you didn’t even know about!)
