Let's make 2016 great!

Lots happened in 2015, whether you’re discussing world news, domestic politics, economy, and personal movement from a lot of people.  It was a fantastic year for some, a slow year for others, and a painful year for a few. But 2015 is behind us now, and it’s time to look towards 2016! Part of my job is to speculate things to come in the market and advise people when it’s a good time to make their move.  Guess what I’m about to say?

I’ve never been one for New Years resolutions, and I don’t plan on starting now.  What I do believe in, however, is planning for the future, and what better time to do that than the beginning of each new year? Although I’m constantly looking to improve my business and service, now is a time when I pick apart my whole model and see if I can put it back together better than it was before. Maybe this should be the tradition instead of “set up to fail” resolutions!

footerAnyways, now that we’re not worried about a double land transfer tax, and interest rates are still very reasonable (careful though, they will go up as the year goes on), it’s a great time to start looking for a home. Have you thought of moving recently? Is your current home just not meeting your needs anymore? Those are the biggest reasons why it’s time to start looking. If you want a Spring move (and who doesn’t, really?), than you need to start looking now.

But what about selling? Is it a good idea to list your home this early in the year, January winds still buffeting our windows? I’ve written before about winter listings <click here if you missed it>, and if all those people are going to start looking, they need places to look at!

wordle3I’m predicting that 2016 is going to be a fantastic year, for even more people than last year was. Numbers point to it, industry experts point to it, and my gut is telling me the same thing…and if I’ve learned anything over the past 9 years or so of selling real estate, it’s to trust what my gut tells me (really scientific, eh? lol).

So head on over to the other parts of my website, I have forms you can fill out to start both the buying or selling process.  Or you can get in touch with me directly through email or phone. Give me a chance to show you why you want to have me working with you for this important stage in your life!
