How to Hire a REALTOR

We all know this is an important decision.  And we all know that your home is most likely your single most valuable possession.  So why do so many people just go with the first agent they meet?  Or only ever call the listing agent?  (bad idea, btw).

There are a few simple things you can do to make sure that you’re making the right decision, and instead of going over it myself, I’m going to refer to the video that really inspired me to post this.  It’s short, sweet, to the point, and it’s spot on.

So let me say, if you’re actually in the Wisconson (US) area, I would recommend you calling Calvin.  Now if you’re in MY area, Norfolk County, on the gorgeous coastlines of Lake Erie, you can just give me a call!  But make sure you do some research first…I want you to do a bit of looking into me first, make sure that I am who I actually say I am!  Don’t just take me (or any agent) at simple face value.  Remember, this is the biggest investment you’re probably ever going to make, and more importantly, this is where you build your life and memories.
